Partnerships Executive – Maternity Cover
Temporary contract for a period of up to 12 months
Demelza Kent and/or South East London
£24,000 FTE
Full time or part time hours available
(minimum 24 hours per week)

Demelza Hospice Care for Children is a charity providing hospice services for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and support for their families across Kent, East Sussex and South East London.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Partnerships Executive to join our Fundraising Team; do you have the skills and expertise to join us?
This role encompasses two elements of our fundraising income streams; Trusts and Partnerships. We are looking for either one individual to take on this role or would also consider a job share with one role within Trusts (part time) and one role within Partnerships (part time)
You will be required to account manage and maximise income from foundations, key corporate partners, grant giving organisations, charitable trusts and livery companies.
You will be an excellent communicator at all levels with a flair for innovative thinking around funding issues. You must demonstrate excellent writing and analytical skills and ideally have previous experience of working within the charity sector.
You will help ensure that we maintain effective relationships with our partners. The foundation for successful partnership is mutual benefit and trust so it will be your job to help make sure that we do this effectively.
A methodical approach to working with a high level of attention to detail is essential to this role.
You will be required to work to tight deadlines and must show your ability to work on your own initiative.
This is a temporary role for a period of up to 12 months.
