Our precision engineering Client based near Dartford is seeking an experienced CAD Draughtsperson – (experience of Radan software is beneficial but not essential). Our client’s business is high-speed machining, fabrication and welding of aluminium, stainless steel and plastics.
Duties and Responsibilities
• To create and convert customer drawings into Sheet Metal parts and flat pattern components for manufacture using 2D and 3D software such as AutoCAD Radan.
• To create efficient project nests and cutting programmes for operation of CNC Punch and Waterjet machines using Radan software.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Packages.
• Liaise with internal and external departments.
• Ensuring minimal sheet metal wastage.
Hourly rate is dependent upon skills and experience.
Working hours are 8am – 4:30pm + overtime available. The company is easily accessible via public transport.
