SENIOR CARE STAFF - URGENT CARE TEAM

Full time (37 hrs) positions at £17,000 per annum, plus travel time and mileage allowance. Overtime available.

Crossroads Care Kent is the leading charitable provider of Carers’ support services in Kent, supporting Carers and People with care needs in their own home.

Crossroads Care Kent delivers responsive services for Carers, and the people they care for, throughout Kent. We provide support for people to come home from hospital as soon as possible, and a rapid response service to help Carers and people with a wide range of disabilities and health needs, to stay at home in the event of something happening to either of them; such as a sudden emergency, or illness.

As part of our experienced Urgent Care team you must be confident and capable of working alone. You will be expected to work as part of a rota (3 days on 4 days off, or vice versa), during which time you will need to be available for a minimum of 37 hours per week, day or night, to support a family Carer, the person they care for, or both, depending on their situation.

An ability and willingness to provide good quality replacement care, including all aspects of personal care is essential. Full training is provided as is 24 hour backup support availability.

We endeavour to plan your work and give you notice of when and where you are will be working, however, due to the nature of the service, this often changes rapidly, and therefore you will be expected to travel at short notice anywhere in East Kent to meet the needs of our service users.
