The role is for a Software Developer, primarily focused within VB .NET, JavaScript and SQL Server, but can expand to include Objective C and Android development as experience grows. The role will involve dealing with customers over the phone, troubleshooting issues within our existing bespoke systems, and being involved with developing new and exciting systems on a variety of platforms. We are looking for someone who will want to grow and develop their skills with us and will not be afraid to get involved with something new, with appropriate support.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software development, be self-motivated, a team player and be well organised. You’ll be enthusiastic and dedicated. You’ll need to also be confident to constructively challenge yourself/the team in order to develop the best solutions for the customer.

Experience in the following is essential:
• Relational Database development (Microsoft SQL Server based, preferably 2005 or later) including query optimisation and replication
• ASP with ASP .NET V2 or higher being advantageous
• JavaScript / jQuery
• Experience in Photoshop / Paint.NET would be advantageous

A full driver’s license & car is not essential but helpful as the successful candidate will be required to visit clients on site from time to time.
