Based in Ramsgate

£30,000 - £35,000 DOE


Our client, who specialises in providing IT support and software, is looking for a new Analyst Developer to join their expanding team.


As the Analyst Developer your role will include;

* Liaising with customers
* Creating process documents
* Communicating to the development team the requirements
* Carrying out software development to a high standard and within time constraints
* Designing and specifying new systems
* Alterations to existing systems
* Provide out-of-hours remote support on a rota basis

As the successful candidate you will:

* Ideally have qualifications in a relevant subject
* Have the ability to think logically
* Be able to compose large and technical documents in a manner suitable for various audiences.
* Ideally have knowledge of OO (Object Oriented) programming methodologies
* Have knowledge of programming, ideally in C#
* Have a proficiency in using T-SQL in a SQL 2008+ Server environment.

In addition to the above, the following skills would be advantageous:

* Knowledge of android development.
* Experience of testing software systems
* Database design using SQL Server 2008+
* JQuery, Javascript or other scripting languages / frameworks.
* Winforms using C#



The role itself will compromise a 60/40 split between software development and the analysis aspect, although some support and testing will be involved. Initially you will spend time learning their industry and their current offerings.

The role is office based but some travel will occasionally be required, so use of a car will be necessary.
