This is an exciting opportunity to join a innovative financial services organisation based in Tonbridge who are seeking an experienced Regulatory and Liquidity Accountant to strengthen their dynamic team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with recent experience in a regulatory finance environment, who is confident in preparing regulatory returns and management information packs to present to senior directors.

The Role

Fundamentally, the role will be largely focused around the key regulatory documents; ICAAP, ILAAP and Pillar III. The role holder will also work closely with the Finance Director and Treasury function and be a member of ALCO. Therefore a key part of the role will be keeping up to date with new regulatory changes and how they impact the bank.

Due to the size of the Finance team, the role will also have cross-function / cross-disciplinary aspects. Flexibility and adaptability are key for success. Constant process improvement is also something that should be sought and may manifest itself into project work.

The Person

The ideal candidate for this position will be a Newly / Part Qualified Accountant who has worked previously as a Financial / Management Accountant and had exposure to PRA reporting. They will immediately have a direct report into them so a desire to manage and be a leader is a must. This is also key with the current position of the bank, as they strive to grow and improve. Candidates must be fully qualified thorugh ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA.
