An exciting opportunity to join the Geku Engineering team has become available.

We are looking for a highly motivated and dependable electrician, time served with fault finding experience necessary.

The role will involve the assembly of electrical panels and installations of robotic based automation systems, working both in house and at customer sites across the UK (and occasionally abroad). The successful candidate will need to enjoy travelling and must be prepared to work away from home when required.

Although some PLC/Robot programming experience would be desirable, it is not an essential requirement and any candidates suitably demonstrating the required ability and aptitude outside of this skill zone will still be considered as full training in these areas will be provided.

Moreover, candidates demonstrating a solid electrical background, self-motivated and problem solving skills would be most suited, along with an aptitude to learn and a logical mind set.

The ideal candidate:
Will be confident and personable when dealing with customers.
Having proven electrical experience in the engineering industry.
Must be a competent problem solver and hands on.
Would have an understanding of electrical circuit drawings and design principles.
The ability to draw electrical circuits on CAD would be an advantage
Would be comfortable travelling and staying away for short periods of time.
Will need to be a team player and be able to demonstrate good communication skills.

40 hour week plus paid overtime
Full UK Driving License Required
Salary negotiable dependent upon experience
