The Role
- A newly created position, to primarily project manage the Design and Estimating function of both our new and established product range.
- The person will be a specialist working within the Technical team but also on their own initiative.
- A varied and interesting job providing a specialist advisory and support service to internal and external customers and third parties.
- Using expertise and creativity to think through and provide solutions to development challenges and issues.
The Individual
- Must have experience in structural design, ideally including skill in areas such as: calculating beam performance; load assessments; the associated British and European Standards required in these areas.
- An HNC/Degree in Building Studies or related subjects, with experience in the construction industry, would be a definite plus.
- Good knowledge of relevant office based and industry software including AutoCAD and Winfloor would aslo be an advantage.
- A well organised individual, who is a great communicator, responsive to deadlines, and works well in a busy team environment
