As Compliance/Legal Advisor you will support the business in the delivery of the compliance plan and legal advice where required. The role focuses on meeting FCA regulatory requirements to ensure that operational processes and procedures treat customers fairly consistent with policies and regulatory requirements and in line with the businesses established Regulatory Compliance guidelines.
Key duties:
*Maintaining and revising compliance policies and procedures
*Monitoring the performance of the compliance program
*Administer and coordinator compliance activities across the business
*Work with the Compliance Officer to arrange audits
*Provide compliance reports and produce audit reports
*Identify areas of risk
*Work with HR to develop effective compliance training
*Legal administration
*Managing small claims legal proceedings
*Maintaining a database for personal accident and personal liability claims
It is essential that you have previous experience in a Legal and Compliance role within an FCA regulated environment. You will understand the legal and regulatory framework, have excellent decision making skills and be able to communicate at all levels.
