The company brief:
One of Londons largest bricklaying contractors who work across the commercial, industrial and residential sectors of the industry with project values ranging from £100,000 - £2.5 million. Due to a large increase in contracts awarded and invitations to tender across the South East the need has arisen to recruit for Bricklayers with immediate effect.
The project:
Brickwork package for a new build education facility. The contract includes earthworks, drainage, foundations, car parks, access roads and hard landscaping.
Your new role:
As a Bricklayer you will be working as part of an existing gang reporting in to a General Foreman. You will be key in contributing to the safe & on time delivery of a complex, exciting project in Battersea and your role will involve:
* Facework
* Blockwork
* Internal/External walls
* Retaining walls
* Ensuring works being carried out meet specification and the correct quality is achieved.
About you:
* Previous in a similar role.
* CSCS Card
* Be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
* Good eye for detail.
* Focused on progress.
