A large company based between Maidstone and Ashford are looking to recruit a Materials Testing Assistant, initially on a temporary basis working 8.00am to 5.00pm.
The position could lead to permanent employment for the right candidate after a qualifying period.
Previous experience is not essential as full training will be given, your main duties will include preparing samples for testing under supervision, testing samples, recording your findings and updating daily work records as required.
The sucessful candidate will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and good numerical skills.
You will enjoy working within a lively team and be IT literate and be happy to carry out repetitive tasks.
Although this role is working within a testing laboratory the work environment can be dirty and dusty and also sometimes noisy the role can be a reasonably manual one.
This is an excellent opportunity to start a career with a forward thinking company.
Own transport is advantageous due to early start time and location.
