Our client is looking for 2 Maintenance Operatives to work on maintenance projects in Westgate-on-Sea.
The role will involve taking care of the town by cleaning the streets, litter picking, making sure bins are cleared and projects to create town improvements. Projects examples include painting canopies and town shelters to enhance the appearance of the area and assisting with landscaping to make gardens beautiful.
You will need to be able to carry out maintenance checks and do progress reports. Equipment will need to be used in accordance with health and safety measures.
It would be advantageous if you have horticultural qualifications and a first aid certificate. You will need to have a full drivers license, a strong work ethic and good communications skills both written and verbal.
The role is approximately 15 hours a week. Flexibility is essential as projects may alter the time table and schedule.
This is a great job for someone that has a variety of maintenance skills and is enthusiastic and passionate about creating a better Westgate-on-Sea.
