Role Purpose:
We are a small but very busy company supplying parts and equipment for the motor racing industry.
We operate on the basis that all staff are able to carry out all roles within the business but our main requirement at the moment is for picking and packing parcels for mail order and taking telephone orders; we also have a retail showroom.

Essential Skills/Experience:
- Excellent people skills and enjoy working with the general public.
- Enjoy working in a busy atmosphere and can cope under pressure during busy periods.
- Good communication skills: telephone, face to face and email.
- General computer skills and familiarity with email and internet use.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Sales experience and/or mechanical knowledge would be an advantage.
- Smart & presentable appearance.
- Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers, handling of cash, cheque and card payments.
- A team player-capable of working alone or with other team staff.
- Able to use own initiative and work in an organised manner.
- Stock is on 2 floors in a large warehouse so fitness is a bonus.


Additional Information:
Start Date: Immediate, but subject to notice period
Location: Dartford, Kent
Hours: 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. May reduce to 4 weekdays after training or shorter hours for suitable applicants.
Saturdays: 2 per month - 8am to 5pm
Contract: Permanent, Full time, Hourly paid
Salary: Depending on experience
