A well established law firm in Tunbridge Wells currently have a position available for a Trainee Legal Secretary to join the Property team at their Tunbridge Wells office. You will be working in a modern open plan environment in the centre of the town and will be supported by a friendly team.
This is an interesting role and an ideal starting point for career development.
Although full training will be given, we would expect our Trainee secretaries to have completed a secretarial course, preferably a Legal Secretarial Diploma/Certificate or to have had some experience of working within an office environment.
We expect our secretaries to be able to work well in a team and have a competent level of IT skills. You should be highly organised and have the ability to apply attention to detail in all areas of your work, producing accurate typing from digital dictation. We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic about their career and has a good work ethic. Flexibility and adaptability are also important aspects of this role. In addition, you will have a high standard of client care and effectiveness.
The Role
You will be providing administrative and secretarial support for the Property team. As your career progresses, you will develop a strong understanding of this area of the law.
