Simply Education are looking for qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistants for immediate starts throughout the Deal and Dover areas.
If you are enthusiastic, committed, reliable and hardworking then we have the role for you! This opportunity is open to those who have a genuine love for teaching and learning and the steadfast determination to build a teaching assistant career!
You will need to support the class teacher and have an outstanding awareness of safeguarding. With a recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare or NNEB you will have relevant experience working with children in a primary school setting.
Every day is different and so you could be supporting children on a one to one basis, or in group situations.
The schools we are currently working with are looking for friendly and confident Teaching Assistants who are able to support all age groups within the Foundation Phase, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You will be working closely with the teaching staff and other classroom assistants.
As the successful Teaching Assistant, you will need to:
- Have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or at least 6 months’ experience.
- Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and a creative approach is necessary.
- Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team.
- Be able to adapt with ease to new environments.
- Have an outstanding awareness of safeguarding, equality and diversity.
- Be friendly and approachable.

- A variety of daily, short and long term positions to suit your needs.
- No need for completion of time sheets.
- Email/SMS confirmation for all bookings.
- Access to your own availability area via the Simply Education website where you can update your availability as and when required.
All candidates who register with Simply Education will have 2 years referencing taken up and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
