My client a leading law firm that has been established for over 125 years, is ranked within the Leal 500 firms, Chambers guide and Lexcel accredited are looking for a Solicitor within their Personal Injury/RTA Department.
The main duties of the role will be:
• To conduct a case load consisting of mix of fast track personal injury claims (mostly claimant but some defended) and multi-track recovery claims, to include credit hire and recoveries in complex (non RTA) cases.
• The role will provide opportunities to contribute to the development of the team both in respect of its skills and knowledge but also the precedents and processes used.
• You will also provide advice across the department, possibly in the form of training sessions and assist on limiting Risk.
• Responsible for supporting a small team of 6 experienced Claims Handlers, providing coaching, mentoring and support to file handlers conducting subrogated debt recovery claims arising from RTAs.
The successful candidate will have:
• 3+ years post-qualification experience, which must include substantial experience of dealing with Personal Injury and claimant road traffic accident debt recovery matters, including credit hire.
• Experience of delivering training and support to non-qualified members of the team.
• Additional experience of dealing with the following would be an advantage:
o Defendant personal injury claims
o Non-RTA subrogated claims debt recovery
o Fraudulent claims
