We are now in the process of recruiting Distribution Technicians to help deliver the daily demand for water to our customers.



We are seeking positive, organised and motivated Distribution Technician to join our busy Operations East team covering Kent and East Sussex.



Based in the field and reporting to the Distribution Team Manager, your main responsibility will be to ensure the levels of service provided to our customers is as required. Meeting this objective will involve effective and timely communication with our customers and operation of the mains network to ensure effective control of the distribution system.



Additionally, you will undertake regulations inspections at newly built houses and existing properties, isolation of water mains, cleansing of the network system, risk assessments, water sampling and oversee the work of our repair and maintenance partners.



The ideal applicants will hold a New Road and Street Works certificate (Supervisory) and water industry qualifications in Operating Water Networks or an equivalent Level 3 NVQ. Knowledge of domestic plumbing, water mains and the installation of service pipes would be beneficial.



As a requirement of this role you will be required to partake in a standby roster; providing an emergency service to our customers out of normal hours and at weekends.
