Goody Demolition Ltd is a leading demolition contractor based in Aylesham, near Canterbury in Kent.
Purpose:
• To effectively assist the operations manager with a variety of tasks in order that the department runs smoothly.
Key Tasks and
Responsibilities:
Assist the Operations Manager & administration department with –
• Management and reporting of health, safety, quality, environmental and compliance issues within the business.
• To support safe working practices and maintenance of a culture in which health and safety is everyone's key priority.
• Management and monitoring of suppliers in partnership.
• Adhere to company systems.
• Responsible for company health and safety.
• To produce demolition plans, method statement and risk assessments.
Person
Specification:
• Ideally the candidate will have previous experience in an operations assistant/manager role within the demolition or general construction industry.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and practices.
• Ability to multi task and meet deadlines, whilst under pressure.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Full, clean driving licence.
Hours of work are 8.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Salary will be dependent on experience.
