GKR Scaffolding Ltd are seeking a Part-Time Accounts Controller/Payroll to join their Head Office team based in Rochester, Kent.

Job Description
•Weekly salary journals and control account reconciliations including expenses, AEO and CSA payments.
•Calculation of monthly tax and national insurance liability
•Processing weekly subcontractor payments and retention release payments when applicable.
•Monthly CIS Returns
•Completion of yearly P11D returns and calculation of class 1A NIC contributions
•Inter-company transactions (invoices and payments)
•Agreeing monthly bank reconciliations to Sage and verifying outstanding payments and receipts
•Responsible for the production of accounts for two companies within the group, including the raising of sales invoices, processing and payment of supplier invoices, bank reconciliations and VAT Returns using Sage Line 50.
•Providing audit information for all companies and assisting the auditors when requested.
•Experienced in processing quarterly VAT submissions.
•Control of all company assets.
•To be involved in all other accounts tasks where necessary.
•Experience of processing payroll using Pegasus (Opera 3).

The Successful Applicant
•Must have excellent accounts experience.
•Extensive knowledge of payroll.
•Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
•Confident decision maker.
•Must have excellent communication skills
•Needs to have the ability to handle multiple tasks with good attention to detail.
•Ability to drive effective and efficient financial processes and procedures.
•Experience Intermediate Excel skills.
•You will need to be flexible as may be required to work extra hours when necessary.
