Job Title: Nights Supervisor
Responsible to: Front Office Manager
Place of Work: Holiday Inn Rochester.
Objective: To provide guest customer service and Health & safety overnight
Experience: Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be given
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• To conduct routine Health & Safety checks in order to comply with statutory and legal requirements for Fire, Health & Safety.
• Assisting with the setup of conference meeting rooms as required, ensuring they meet any specific requirements and Brand Standards.
• Conducting late night arrival check in’s and early morning check out’s at Reception.
• Ensuring the hotel is kept clear and tidy throughout the night, by conducting regular checks of the building, rest facilities and bar areas.
• Welcoming and friendly
• To help out on reception, checking guests in and out when required
• Ability to work under pressure
• Attention to detail and able to multi task with excellent communication skills
Ensure the safety of the guests in the hotel overnight to include fire procedures and security checks
• Oversee the Food & Beverages Outlets for breakfast service and 24hr room service
• Work hours – 23.00 to 08.00 and be able to work 5 days over 7 to include weekends
• Cleaning of public areas and Health Club when closed
This role will include the supervision of two Night Porters
