A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join this local employer of choice. Reporting to the Building Maintenance & Projects - Team Leader you will be responsible for a broad range of building engineering expertise, across the site to maintain and improve existing buildings, infrastructure and other structures or facilities.



You will have primary expertise in managing building maintenance work from condition surveys and design to procurement and supervision of works on site. You will be proactive and flexible able to manage numerous project simultaneously.



To carry out this role you must have the following skills and qualifications:



*  Trade background

*  HNC or HND in an appropriate building / construction discipline

*  Working knowledge of CDM Regulations

*  Good knowledge of Building Regulations

*  Site supervision with particular regard to specification compliance, quality and health &safety.



A minimum of 3 years' experience is required in a similar role including:



*  Assessment of building / construction defects

*  Building engineering and design

*  Budget management

*  Management of contractors

*  Risk and environmental assessments

*  Maintenance planning

*  Estimating



This is a challenging role involving work on a diverse range of projects.
