A successful, expanding medical communications agency has created a new role for an Editorial Manager.
The position involves medical writing – of high quality scientific content to suit a broad range of medical projects, in addition to participating in conferences and acting as a primary contact for clients and opinion leaders on scientific / editorial matters.
You will have your own projects with agreed content and financial targets and will also oversee the selection and management of freelance medical writers to ensure cost effective delivery and quality project outcomes.
Candidates should have a degree in life sciences or pharmacy, together with experience within the pharmaceutical industry. The ability to produce high quality content that is scientifically accurate and consistent in style and accuracy is essential. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills are also important, as is a proactive, positive and energetic attitude.
This is a full-time position, possibly with the flexibility to undertake some work at home.
Competitive salary according to experience and benefits to include performance related bonus, pension, health insurance, 25 days holidays + bank holidays.
