E-Type UK is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Panel Beater / Restorer to join our growing team based in Kent, United Kingdom.
Having recently moved our body work facility on-site, we have seen exponential growth in bodywork requirements and as such are looking for an experience body shop technician to join the team.
The successful applicant would report into our Body Shop Manager and work with our existing members of staff to help deliver outstanding restorations to customers and drive forward restoration projects.
Main Responsibilities would include:
• Accessing of vehicles to understand requirements
• Removal of damaged panels
• Filler work to large areas of vehicles after metal work
• Refitting of new /repaired panels
• Repairing damaged bodywork using existing metal work
• Repairing of small dents, holes or corrosion
• Keeping a record of work carried out
• Liaising with Suppliers and wider Team to communicate timelines
The Body Shop is fully supplied with the latest equipment to ensure the highest level of finish, with no expense sparred on tooling to allow for a through and detailed job to be undertaken.
Tooling includes:
• Spot Welder
• Mig Welder
• Rotational Jig
• Custom Made Jig for panel alignment
• Guillotine
• Dust extraction Systems
• Latest Todd Engineering Spray Booth
