We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join the nursing team on the Inpatient Unit here at Heart of Kent Hospice. We are an independent charity providing specialist end of life care for people facing the challenge of a life-limiting illness, and support for their families. Our catchment area includes Maidstone, Aylesford, Tonbridge and Malling and the surrounding villages.
We care for nearly 1,000 patients and their families each year in their own homes, in the community, or in the Hospice, improving their quality of life and helping to make every day precious.
The successful candidate will work as one of the multidisciplinary specialist palliative care team in the provision of a co-ordinated and comprehensive service to inpatients, their families and carers. This will be achieved through the provision of specialist palliative care interventions based on comprehensive holistic assessment, agreement of goal focused care planning, education and support to patients, families and carers. Care, compassion and regulatory acumen will be second nature as we strive to make every day precious.
