Village Green Restaurants are looking for a General Manager to join our team and take on the successful running of the Swan & Dog in Great Chart, Ashford.

Dating back to the 16th Century, the Swan & Dog is a busy village pub & restaurant that prides itself on delivering our customers with first class levels of customer service, together with freshly prepared dishes using locally sourced ingredients.

Having recently benefited from a complete refurbishment, we are a high turnover business that operates on a 70% food/30% drink split, so we are looking for a dedicated and food loving General Manager that has proven experience managing a fast paced, high volume food operation.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
• Proven experience at GM level within the F&B, pub or hospitality sector.
• Experience managing a busy food led outlet.
• The ability to build a strong partnership with your Head Chef & kitchen team.
• First class customer service, quality and service delivery standards.
• Proven leadership skills in order to recruit, train, motivate and develop your team.
• You must be commercially astute, able to assume responsibility for the site management reporting and profit and loss budgeting.
• The ability to engage the local community and drive sales & marketing from site.
• Ideally you will be an existing personal licence holder.
