The Saga Way…… At Saga we exist to make the lives of retired people better; where we see the world through our customer’s eyes, so we can exceed their expectations; where nothing is too much trouble for our customers; where we trust and challenge each other to be brave and do the right thing and where we are ‘One Saga’.
As our business moves into a new and re-energised future of growth there is a real opportunity for great people to play a significant role as part of one the UKs most iconic and trusted brands.
Saga is overhauling its outdated digital analytics capability and needs someone to lead Saga travel through this change and manage the digital analytics for Saga travel moving forward.
Historically Saga has used a combination of Speedtrap, Tealeaf and a few other older style analytics tools. We are moving to a combination of the following:
Adobe Analytics linking with Adobe Campaign & Adobe Target
Sessioncam Rakuten (for multi-channel marketing attribution)
The current digital reporting out of the team offers minimal insight on the trends, nor does it outline opportunities for improvement and doesn’t adequately separate digital marketing effort & results. A programme is underway in Saga to replace the digital tools so the team must have the skills and structure to maximise the return from this investment.
This role combines leadership of digital analytics within Saga travel with hands on analytics (we’re a small team so we’re all very hands on and lead by example) The digital analytics team are responsible for providing the digital performance reporting, providing insight on that performance and identifying opportunities for the rest of the team to act on. The Digital Analytics Manager’s responsibilities include acting as the voice of Saga travel digital performance, representing the team in trading meetings, performance deep dives with senior leaders etc…
Our customers in Saga are 50+ and so brilliant digital user experience and design has some challenges traditionally not tackled by other companies. We’re looking to be the world class authority on digital interaction for the retired generation so the expectations are high but our current analytics tools don’t give us the insight to customer behaviour that the Adobe suite will.
The successful candidate will need to work closely with teams across Travel marketing and the Group Digital team.
So, we’ve sparked your interest….now what’s in it for you?
We’re offering an excellent salary package, plus a wide range of excellent benefits, including private healthcare, pension scheme, on site nursery, social club and discounts on holidays and insurance products.
