Our client a local employer of choice with a national and international presence who pride themselves on quality and reliability are looking for a forward thinking Production Supervisor to strengthen their existing team.



Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager you will be responsible for the manufacturing of company products to the quality and timescale required along with the production team and their on going development. Ensuring that all jobs are completed on time, in full and are right first time. This will include, but not limited to, production scheduling, capacity management, running and maintaining all production machinery, attending daily production meetings, continuous improvement, lean, 5-S.



The role;



* Understand and be able to run all Production Machinery

* Production scheduling of customer orders and stock replenishment's

* Set-up of customer pre-print orders

* Final assembly of finished goods

* Pre/post production material print testing

* Fluent understanding of printing software (SumiLabel, NiceLabel, EuroLabel)

* Good housekeeping

* Participation in lean manufacturing projects and other continuous improvement activities.

* Attendance of daily production meeting (PPP)

* Analytical mind, dealing with cause and effect

* Ability to operate technical production machinery

* Ability to communicate well at all levels

* Competent to produce reports and presentations

* An engineering/mechanical background would be advantageous

* Have genuine integrity

* Have good communication skills

* Be able to work as part of a team but also on own initiative

* Have good numeracy and good literacy skills

* Be proficient in MS Windows, Word and Excel

* Be quick to learn and retain new information and processes

* Knowledge of ERP
