We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who would be interested in joining a busy team within the Hotel as a Kitchen Porter. The role includes early starts and late finishes, with no split shifts, so suitable transport provision would be essential. Immediate start available.

The Kitchen Porter’s duties will include:
• Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible.
• Collect and wash up pots and pans.
• Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.
• Unload food and equipment deliveries.
• Keep the storeroom organised.
• Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised.
• COSHH Training would be an advantage, however full training will be given

In addition to keeping the kitchen to a high company standard, the Kitchen Porter may be involved in some food preparation like peeling potatoes or unwrapping ingredients etc.
