Full Time Fitness Assistant
Based at Kingsnorth Recreation Centre
Hourly salary up to £14,184 per annum.
We are looking for highly motivated fitness assistants to join our team. As a Fitness Assistant you will be responsible for the smooth running of the Centre on a day to day basis. You will be expected to manage and motivate a small team of staff, maintain excellent levels of customer service, and ensure policies and procedures are applied in an efficient manner. Ideally the successful candidate will have management experience in a similar role and have knowledge of Health & Safety guidelines, First Aid including Defib.
You will be expected to be a key holder and carry out a broad range of tasks including reception, fitness suite cleaning and facility/event preparation.
In addition to this, the ideal candidate will also be a fitness instructor, with a Level 2 qualification. Responsibilities include carrying out new member inductions, ongoing fitness assessments gym based programming and goal setting.
Shifts include early mornings, evenings and weekends so flexibility is essential as support/cover will need to be provided for bookings and functions at the Centre.
This position will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check.
