We’re a multi award-winning drinks business on a mission to disrupt the industry.

We only want to make things that we want to drink ourselves, without compromising on the ingredients or production process to ‘hit a price-point’.

We believe that if we create things we truly love, other people will love them too.

We’ve built a portfolio of internationally successful drinks brands from scratch, including Bathtub Gin, Rumbullion!, That Boutique-y Whisky Company and Drinks By The Dram, which regularly win “all the awards” (seriously, Google us, it’s ridiculous).

We already turn over tens of millions of pounds a year and over the next 5 years we’re going to build a billion pound global business.

You care deeply about building a modern, efficient production function, able to supply the rapidly growing demand for our world-class brands.

You’ve had plenty of experience setting up and managing production operations, you’ve seen what works and what doesn’t, and you’re ready to put those learnings into action.

You have a passion for building things from scratch and putting together great teams, a process which comes easily to you because it’s what excites and energises you.

You’ve got a great attitude and pick new things up fast. You strive to attain a thorough understanding of not only the what, but the why, and marvel that most people never question things at a deep level. You have an over-riding need to be the best at what you do.

You understand that production isn’t something that “just happens” - every detail is important, everything we make has to be exactly right, because when someone opens one of our products and shares it with a friend, they’re staking their reputation on us having done our job well. Every bottle that leaves the building is an ambassador for our mission and our values.

You get out of bed each morning excited to get cracking and make things better. You tell your boss how you dealt with challenges in a smart and novel way, rather than why you couldn’t do something.

You’re disgusted at the mediocre job most businesses do and how badly they treat their customers. You want to be part of a company that does things differently.

You’re frustrated by how slowly other people get stuff done and you know you could do it so much better, if only you worked in a business which didn’t thwart you at every turn with pointless rules.

The work is challenging, interesting and important. You’ll join an incredibly passionate and dedicated team working hard to build something they love - something truly great.

No stuffed shirts here. You’ll have the ear of our founders, and you will help shape our strategy – your views will count - you won’t just be another cog in a big corporate machine.

You’ll be running our new production facility in Tonbridge. It’s a completely new site, 3 times the size of our previous one and we’ve only just moved in. The first thing we want you to do is put all those years of experience to good use by taking our current setup to the next level.

In your first few months, and with the help of our existing dedicated production team, you’ll transform us from a plucky upstart who has built everything from scratch and learned as we went along, to a world-class facility fit to meet our needs and produce millions of bottles a year.

It’ll be hard work, but incredibly rewarding, and you’ll enjoy a lot of autonomy in your task.

The benefits rock. We want you to do the best work of your life. Your salary will ultimately be driven by the value you add to the business - if you do great work, you’ll earn great money and it’ll keep increasing as we recognise and reward your contribution.

Our best people become stakeholders in the business. If you’re world class, you’ll get a piece of the action and earn great money whilst doing something you love.

Come and help us build the future.

Primary tasks and responsibilities
Managing and developing the production department.
Recruiting and training a highly capable team of supervisors and workers.
Responsibility for health and safety within the production department.
Working closely with our Edinburgh production team and Operations Manager to anticipate, plan for and meet production demand.
Ensure QC standards are met.
To continuously evaluate and improve our production efficiency and quality.

Secondary tasks and responsibilities
Working with our logistics team to ensure timely and secure transport of goods between sites.
Coordinating and managing outsourcing partners.
Collaborating with the new product development team
Being a keyholder for the site.

The successful candidate will:
Have significant experience managing within a production environment at a senior level
Be energetic, intelligent, dynamic and innovative.
Be a team player.
Possess excellent communication skills.
Have exceptional organisation and leadership skills.
Thrive in an environment with a high degree of autonomy.
Have extensive experience of managing staff at a range of levels and abilities.
Have strong logical, analytical and lateral thinking skills.
