Ecoegg is a multi-award winning small but rapidly growing product and media company. We develop and market cutting-edge, innovative, eco-friendly FMCG & other household products.
Our office is a small but busy one and you’ll need stamina to keep up! Our Managing Director has recently been awarded ‘Kent Entrepreneur of the Year’ and we have just won the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise – we’re going to need a bigger trophy cabinet! Our products are sold all around the world (in over 34 countries now!) in retail, mail-order and (excitingly!) on shopping TV channels through the world - and that’s where you come in…
The role
As an assistant in the TV production/sales team at Ecoegg you will have a varied and interesting role. A lot of roles claim that “no two days will be the same”, but in this position – we guarantee it! One day you may be working designing compelling demonstrations for our products and the next assisting our on air sales representatives in a live TV studio in the UK or abroad.
You will have many varied duties across the whole of the TV sales side of the business including prop sourcing and creation, creating compelling demonstrations and data analytics. Whatever it takes to get our products on air and selling out time after time – you’ll do it!
You will be a “can-do” type, happy to turn your hand to almost anything, getting “stuck in” to get the job done. Missing a deadline is not in your DNA.
This position is important to the growth of the company and we’re looking for an independent thinker with entrepreneurial spirit.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Your main tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Developing and testing new demonstrations for our TV sales presentations
- Sourcing props and other resources for TV presentations
- Assisting on-air talent during rehearsals and in live broadcast studios both in the UK and abroad
- Helping to train and support on on-air and creative talent
- Assisting writing scripts for live and pre-recorded TV broadcasts
- Call data analytics of sales presentations
- Competitor and product research
Please note: This job will be likely to include overseas travel, for the right candidate.

Experience doesn’t matter for this role – it’s your attitude and resourcefulness we want! We are looking for someone with drive, enthusiasm and the desire to work hard to get the job done and to be part of something special.
You’ll be a perfectionist, will always insist on doing things right (even when no-one is looking) and be excited to be part of a young, rapidly growing British success story.
We need someone with entrepreneurial spirit, who wants to witness the rapid growth of a new company from the inside.
Specifically, you will be/have:
• Superbly organised and efficient with a confident manner
• Great communication, numeracy and literacy skills
• Good computer literacy
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Ability to work both as part of a team and on your own initiative
• We’re looking for someone who is intelligent but also very practical and good with their hands
• You must be physically fit, able to drive with your own car and have no restrictions on your ability to travel overseas
• Partial to a bit of table tennis. It’s the company sport and belonging to the league is compulsory. Ish.
