Due to business increase The Black Horse Inn is looking to expand its highly skilled kitchen team. We are looking for an experienced chef de partie - this role would be perfect for someone with at least one years CDP experience in a busy fresh food, fast paced kitchen. We are also looking for someone with a flair for pastry, especially desserts to further enhance our fantastic seasonal menu. We are a family run restaurant with over 100 covers and we also have a thriving wedding and function business as well as a highly rated B&B, therefore no 2 days are the same. We are looking for a creative chef that will relish input on our ever changing seasonal dishes and be able to lead and teach the commis chefs in the absence of the Head, Sous and Junior Sous chefs. This is a fantastic role with real possibility of career progression in a restaurant that is highly regarded for its excellent quality food and service. The ideal chef will be used to high pressure busy services not just on weekends but during the week too, yet still maintain the high quality our customers have come to expect. You will be working with some of the best local food suppliers and you will need your skills to show their amazing produce off to its best. We are offering an above average salary to the right candidate plus a share of weekly gratuities to further boost your income. Where possible our chefs work a 4 day week or have at least 3 nights off per week with one weekend off per month. We offer 5.5 weeks annual leave plus pension.

The Black Horse Inn is a rural pub and restaurant not on transport links so your own transport is essential.
