We are delighted to be supporting our client, based near Whitstable, who are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join their exciting team. Be part of a highly recognised, international organisation who have a fantastic company history and even better products.

This role would sit within the Marketing Team, offering support where necessary. Reporting into the Brand Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the marketing campaigns/projects across all the divisions in the company. This position covers a wide range of marketing disciplines from digital and online marketing to more traditional offline print marketing.

Furthermore, the role will also involve:

• Assist the Brand Manager in coordinating all marketing activities
• Assist the Marketing, Sales, Product and Graphics teams and Events Co-ordinator with admin and adhoc activity
• Work with the Marketing & Communications Officer to ensure all PR, social media and communications activities are aligned
• Assist the Brand Manager with customer experience insights and market research
• Manage all customer email databases
• Manage and grow the company’s digital marketing presence – this will include PPC and Adwords
• Build relationships with key marketing contacts within our accounts base and industries
• Manage external suppliers for print, POS, design, media, market research and market data
• Book adhoc travel and hotels
• Ensure all marketing activities and printed materials work within brand guidelines
• Manage all internal communication with product and campaign launches e.g. internal message boards, emails, demos
• Maintain and develop company websites, including updating images and copy on CMS


The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Relevant marketing degree or equivalent
• Experience in a similar marketing role
• Knowledge of CMS systems
• Strong content writing skills
• Experience with managing external relationships
• Good knowledge of digital marketing
• Good communicator – verbally and written
• Must be well organised
• Be a team player

Salary package:
