Trainee Stores
42.5 hours per week, Circa £16,500k pa
Applicant MUST be 25+
The Job
We are a fast growing Home Automation Company based in Kent. We are looking for someone to join our team at a trainee level. The ideal candidate would need to be aware that they will be carrying and lifting heavy items. You will be based in our Office in Tenterden, however a driving license is essential.
Key Skills
1. Strong ability to work alone and use own initiative
2. Be organised, flexible and able to approach different types of tasks during the working day
3. Very good communication skills
4. Have good mechanical skills
5. The ideal applicant will be flexible and able to adapt to various situations put to them
Job Role
• Checking Stock levels
• Organising the stores
• Maintaining running stock levels
• Passing orders to the procurement dept. for stock top ups
• Maintaining running stock levels on the vans
• Keeping customer stock in order and visually easy to locate
• Preparing stock for engineer collection
• Keeping Sales and Project management aware of high expense stock to save double ordering
• Cleaning and tidying of the stores and loading bay area
• Maybe required from time to time to help out with the fleet management
• You may be required to deliver stock to site one day a week
Existing experience desirable however not essential.
Applicant needs to be 25+
Full Driving Licence required (minor penalty points will be considered however no disqualifications)
