Our client, a major company in in North Kent, have recently gone through a rapid period of growth. As such they are now looking to recruit a commercially focused Accountant.
You will report to the Finance Director and have the ability to oversee a small team. In this role you will work alongside senior managers and take responsibility for the production of management accounts and the management of the balance sheets.
Specific duties will include:
-Transfer from GAAP to IFRS
-Monthly and annual accounts
-SOX compliance
-Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
-Preparing and analysing forecasts and budgets
-Strong involvement with Contract Costings and Tender Submissions
The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified as a minimum, have strong analytical skills, good communication skills, advanced Excel and Access skills and be capable of working within a dedicated team.
