An excellent opportunity to join a market leader in their field.  Currently seeking a Financial Accountant to join them on a 12 month fixed term contract basis and join them at a really exciting point in their history.  They have just completed a merger and acquired some really exciting new brands, doubling the size of the organisation and creating a real buzz throughout the business.

Working throughout the business, reporting to both financial and non-financial stakeholders, you would be a key member of the finance team; you will be critically evaluating and compiling financial information for decision making. 

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Compiling weekly financial summary and forecast, including commentary and all associated KPI`s
-Following up with budget holders on cost centre forecasts
-Weekly and daily reporting;
-Business partnering with sales and marketing teams 
-Develop and own the financial forecast for sales and marketing 
-All accruals and postings in connection with overhead cost centre reporting 
-Maintenance of the fixed asset register including reporting and capitalisation of assets
-Consolidation of information for Group reporting and preparation for the monthly pack 
-Month end/Budget tasks as part of the relevant cycle
-Assisting with the reconciliation of the inter-company accounts at month end.

Candidates will ideally be studying towards a CIMA/ACCA qualification or be CIMA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent qualification). Ideally you will have experience in a manufacturing environment, however, experience of a FMCG environment would also be considered. Experience of KPI reporting, handling large amounts of data and business partnering with senior management. The ideal candidate will have a natural curiosity, a keenness to resolve issues in a timely fashion and a mind set that challenges positively. This is a fast paced working environment and would suit a bright and outgoing individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
