My Client, one of the largest suppliers to the UK market, is driven by a passion for high quality and pioneering innovation. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrically biased - to become an effective member of their existing team, working on a 5 week shift pattern.

The role: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Contribute to and help implement continuous improvement
Work as part of an effective response team on breakdowns and/or emergency repairs
Be responsible for ensuring daily checks are carried out efficiently and in a timely manner
To ensure all works carried out are compliant with Health and Safety requirements
Take an active role in PPM jobs under the advice and guidance of the team leader
Enter planned maintenance on work request forms
Adhoc project work

Skills / Experience / Qualifications: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Electrically qualified - apprentice served or HNC
Food / Pharma / FMCG Industry experience ideal
Experience in maintenance of Production / Packaging lines
Experienced in installations, ppm and reactive maintenance
Knowledge of various plant / equipment, such as : Bearings, Pumps, Couplings, Pneumatics, Metrology, Electrical systems, Electrical motors, PLC Systems, Drives, Electronics, Process Control, Fault Diagnosis and Safety.
Ability to follow instructions and use own initiative
Excellent health and safety awareness
Experienced in routine checks and identification of preventative measures
Self motivated
Competent in report writing
Able to work unsupervised
Computer literacy in Microsoft office, job allocation systems and electronic PO systems would be a distinct advantage
