We now have an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join our Collections Trace Team as a Team Leader. Working closely with the Trace Manager you will not only lead and support a team of Trace Specialists, but support the growth and development of the department, ensuring reconnection of our customers is achieved in an efficient and cost effective manner.

This role is ideal for a person with strong people skills who would also like the opportunity to use their initiative to review, challenge and develop current processes for the improvement of the team.

What does the role involve?
• Managing a team of individuals with varying levels of experience, ensuring that regular reviews are carried out and all relevant procedures are followed
• Developing and motivating the team to achieve both personal and business goals
• Embrace and embed all relevant regulation and policies within the department
• Create improvements in business processes by contributing ideas and implementing agreed changes into the team's day-to-day operations.
• Develop relationships with external trace vendors and conducting visits to review performance where necessary
• Lead and participate in project work as required

What are we looking for?
• Proven experience of Team Leadership/people management
• Candidates with experience of working within a Financial Services environment will have an advantage but this is not essential
• The ability to lead by example and recognise targets to be achieved whilst supporting and developing others
• A candidate who possesses a high level of commitment to their role with drive and determination
• The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong skills when building relationships with people at all levels

The working hours are shifts between the hours of 8am – 8pm Monday to Friday and every other Saturday 8am -2pm.
