Entertainment/Events Manager - Leisure Breaks
The main purpose of the role:
To develop, promote, administer and deliver paid activities to guests and day visitors but primarily themed bespoke breaks. Prime objective of the role is to enhance and drive additional tariff and occupancy of the Leisure Breaks accommodation on offer. To ensure the successful integration of these activity breaks into the sales strategy and marketing development of the Leisure Breaks brand.
Key roles:
*To ensure bespoke breaks are developed and delivered to an agreed timeline to meet financial targets
*To recruit and manage a team of people to deliver paid activities to day visitors and accommodation guests.
*To ensure that the sales and marketing teams are fully conversant with bespoke breaks strategy.
*To ensure best value within negotiations and contracts of external suppliers.
*Encourage guests to complete feedback forms to ensure you can act on any concerns for future bespoke breaks.
*Complete staff rotas for entertainments team ensuring rota is in line with budget.
*Responsible for training of your entertainments team.
*Manage TMS and any related payroll queries for your entertainments team.
*Manage holidays for the entertainments team and ensure they are completed correctly and on time.
Essential criteria
*5 years previous experience in a management / senior supervisory role in a leisure / hotel or similar role.
*Experience and competence in the use of MS Office.
*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
*Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work unsupervised and manage own work- load effectively.
*Ability to multi-task.
*Meticulous approach to work with an understanding of the importance of attention to detail.
*A proven track record of the ability to form and maintain good working relationships.
*Excellent negotiator
*Exceptional selling skills
*Profit responsibility
*A full UK driving licence
