A large multi national company based in the Medway Towns is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer, with an electrical bias on a permanent basis. You will be working in a small team within the Engineering Department.
This is an exceptional role and an opportunity to join a company with excellent career development and benefits.
Ideally you will be from a manufacturing background and hold a relevant electrical maintenance qualification/time served apprenticeship.
Your main duties will include electrical and mechanical servicing, repairs, installation and testing, improvement projects and general maintenance tasks on a wide range of production machinery, such as plastic extrusion, plating, automated warehouse and site facilities.
You will be required to attend breakdowns within the site and take the appropriate action to return plant to production as well as PPM.
Safe working procedures and a standard of good engineering must be adhered to in line with Health and Safety regulations as well as ensuring relevant records of work are kept up to date.
You will be a good communicator, well organised, forward thinking and happy to work a continental shift pattern, comprising of two 12 hour day/two 12 hour night shifts and 4 days off, on a rolling seven day rota.
