We are currently recruiting for an employer of choice, located on prestigious Kings Hill, specialising in Insurance, for a Claims Handler.
Previous experience of general claims assessing/handling is required with any experience of “Life” Claims helpful, although not essential.
In essence the Claims Handler will validate Life claims including Loan Protection and Life Savings for their clients.
You will also assess and validate Accident, Sickness and Unemployment claims including Payment Waiver claims, gathering any necessary information required in an efficient an timely fashion, updating the in house system records accurately to clearly reflect the claim journey, whilst at the same time keeping the customer informed and up-to-date, working to the principals of Treating Customers Fairly, or basically, as you would wish to be treated.
The claims decision often involves searching through loan account statements to check balances and dates etc., so we are also looking for someone who has the ability to analyse information carefully with good mathematical skills as well.
Working within a friendly team environment, with continual support, you must also enjoy working to tight deadlines and under pressure!
In exchange, our client offers exceptional working conditions and a salary depending on experience but as a guide, in the region of £18K - £21K.
