CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER
£18,300 to £19,708
This position is based at the Council’s Depot, Park Wood Maidstone
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills to join our waste and wider depot team. This is a busy frontline service with challenging targets, which needs an assertive team player with good interpersonal skills to handle contact with the public.
You will need exceptional organisational and administrative skills with a methodical approach in carrying out duties. You will also need to be competent on a computer, with good keyboard skills.
The Council considers this to be a customer focused roles and the ability to converse at ease with customers adapting communication style to suit differing audiences and provide advice in accurate spoken English is fundamental to the role.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a small, service focused team dealing with residents’ enquiries, mainly by telephone, email and letter, as well as supporting the development of services. We are looking for a proactive individual with innovative solutions and a commitment to high standards of service delivery
