A Packhouse Maintenance Engineer is required to join an organisation on the outskirts of Canterbury.
The incoming Engineer will be tasked to undertake reactive, corrective and preventative mechanical maintenance (with a small amount of electrical knowledge required) within a busy food packaging environment.
The ideal applicant will be an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with exposure to packing/packaging machinery - you will be expected to work with a variety of different tools on basic mechanical parts, but also on specialist machinery where necessary.
A strong knowledge of electrical engineering will be highly beneficial, but at least a basic understanding is needed (no 16th or 17th edition is required).
Candidates will need to be able to work across weekends and bank holidays (one in four weekends is required which will therefore result in a seven day working week). Owing to the location of the business, applicants will be required to drive.
