What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a Secondary Supply Teacher you will need to have qualified teacher status, or be looking to complete your induction year. You will need to be a creative and positive teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst demonstrating a professional manor at all times. You will have strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt to unfamiliar plans and timetables. It is imperative that you have good communication skills as this is crucial when speaking to other members of staff and people in the school.
