A UK HR Manager is required to join a prestigious organisation - a globally renowned retail brand with UK HQ in Kent. This is a rare opportunity to for a dynamic HR professional.

Reporting into a remotely based HR Team - the incoming candidate will take on full transactional and strategic HR control for the UK output of the organisation (staff population in excess of 300).

Working with an established HR Officer (who predominantly covers all external HR issues), the role will be to predominantly look after Head Office functions (to eventually include payroll and finance), and all HR strategy. Other responsibilities will include:

* To provide a full and trusted advisory service to Senior Management.
* Drive and support all resourcing, induction and exit strategy, L&D, ER, absence, performance management, talent management and sustainability, HR analytics, and Succession Planning.
* Work in collaboration with other HR Divisions and Departments in the UK.
* Acting as a change agent / facilitator in change.
* Take part in global HR project.

The role will involve international travel (roughly four to five times per year - to include US and Europe).

The ideal applicant will hold current HR experience within an international (or preferably an American) organisation and be accustomed to working within a matrix/structured environment. Full CIPD would be advantageous but this isn't essential for a candidate with a proven HR Manager background.

Candidates will need to be able to operate in a fast-paced, highly commercial environment with consummate ease and be able to converse effectively with stakeholders of all levels of experience.
