Cost Consultancy (Major Projects) seeking Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist Quantity Surveying Consultant offering M&E Design, Project Management, Cost Modelling, Facilities Management and Building Surveying services.

Their clients include key consultants and end-users, through to major building contractors and reputable M&E contractors in the commercial, education, data, healthcare, retail, transport, mixed-use and residential sectors. The majority of their work is undertaken in Central and Greater London, although they do have clients throughout the UK and overseas. Since their incorporation in 2008 they have grown successfully and earned a reputation as a trusted partner to our core clients; many of whom have been with them from the outset - this is a testament to their quality, professional service and dedication.

Their flexibility allows them to offer a unique service as they are able to meet any project requirement as well as being able to offer a competitive fee to suit their client's situation. They we are now considered one of the most established and successful M&E quantity surveying consultancies in the UK.

They have picked up a high volume of new business (and repeat business) and are seeking to employ a number of experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor's to assist on a variety of projects. You will join their established, growing M&E Services department working on projects in the South East ranging from £20 million to £80 million (M&E value) across all sectors including:

* Residential (Affordable housing to super prime residential)
* Hospitality (Hotels)
* Commercial (High-rise, New-build, fit-out)
* Education (Primary, Secondary schools, Colleges and Universities)

Duties and Responsibilities include:

* Attend post tender/pre-contract and final account meetings
* Organising and distributing sub contract tenders
* Undertaking the placing on order of specialist equipment
* Arranging payments to sub-contractors
* Undertaking monthly valuations & undertaking variations on a contract
* Ensuring that all site operatives are working to the latest construction drawings
* Negotiating final accounts & the chasing of outstanding accounts
