Randstad CPE, now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Strategic Accounts Team, focussing on Residential /New House Building.
The key aspects of the role will involve:
* Working in conjunction with the SMT, Strategic Accounts Team and Branch management team, focusing on building specific Client strategies across the UK. Identify marketing opportunities, desk set-up opportunities, and if client focus should be Regional or National.
* Achieving Specified Growth targets relating to specific sector/clients as agreed with the Strategic Accounts Director
* Opening up new business opportunities, attending visits with consultants, setting up supply agreements, negotiating Commercial agreements with the sign off from the SMT.
* Build on already established relationships within the Sector, to expand into different regions, areas of specialism
* Work with the Tender Team on new submissions and the Legal Team on contract amendments where required
* Overarching view and understanding of the Residential Market to ensure we continue to stay in line with the market - regular Industry reports back to the SMT and Regional Branches, including Trends, movement in the market, Senior Appointments, growth.
* Updating the business and Training Services team on trends in the market regarding tickets, union relationships, anything else that is relevant to the industry
* Work with the rest of the business to ensure business leads/opportunities are exchanged between the offices
* Work with the Marketing team to develop Industry Specific Marketing documentation to use with clients
The ideal candidate should either possess:
* Business Development Experience from within the Residential sector
* Or- Business Development Experience from within the recruitment sector
As well as:
* Previous experience of winning and managing business and the ability to demonstrate success in developing relationships with major clients from a sales led approach
* Experience of identifying sales gaps and closing these
* The ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally
* A strong track record of exceeding targets and budgets
* Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
* Tenacity and drive to succeed
* Passionate about Business Development
This role will require a large amount of flexibility and the ability to travel regularly across the UK for overnight stays. A full UK Driving Licence is therefore essential for this position.
