Our client, a well known and respected multinational manufacturing business based in brand new, state of the art offices are currently looking to add an Accounts Receivable clerk to their team on a part time basis working 3 days per week on a contract basis for 9 months.
The main purpose of the role will be to maintain the sales ledgers, which will include the following duties:
Chase debtors for payment and investigate invoice queries to ensure prompt cash collection.
Release customer orders for despatch according to account status.
Work with Financial Accountant (WCAP) to set credit limits for new customers.
Monitor and review account limits for existing customers, using account history, experience, D&B (or similar) and Credit Insurance facilities.
Carry out daily banking of monies received, allocate and post to accounts to ensure accounts are up to date.
Open customer accounts in accordance with approved company procedures in order to minimise risk of financial loss.
Raise Invoices & credit notes
Process daily and ad hoc sales ledger invoice runs.
Use Group standard KPIs to monitor cash collection at Company and Customer level
Due to the location of the role applicants must ensure they can drive and have access to a car, other qualities and experience our client is looking for are:
Previous experience of a credit control or sales ledger role
Good excel skills
Excellent telephone manner
