Marton Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for the role of Logisitcs Administrator for one of the areas Employers of Choice.
If you enjoy working at a fast pace, in a varied role and are computer literate using Databases and Excel, then this could be the role you are looking for!
The main aim of this role is to provide the clerical support necessary to accurately maintain the Inventory Record for the business. You will be administering and updating records of Invoices and Purchase Order based deliveries from the various business suppliers for both the UK and Export Markets.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1 To update the Computerised Inventory Records from the data supplied on Purchase Orders, Works Orders, Stock Movement sheets and Stock Requisitions.
2 Log and maintain information from Purchase Orders and Delivery notes received from the various Hauliers used
3 Liaise with suppliers to control the flow of incoming goods.
4 To book in goods arriving at the Lens Care Warehouses to the System
5 To assist with any stock enquiries
6 To co-ordinate the meeting room facilities.
7 To order and control office stationary and warehouse consumables.
8 To assist with the Continual Improvement of the business.
In order to be closely considered towards this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and attributes within your CV.
* High level of PC literacy (Word and Excel).
* Familiar with ERP business systems
* Good Communication skills, written and verbal.
* Self-motivated and able to prioritise own work load.
EXPERIENCE
At least 2 Years of experience in a similar environment is preferable In house training provided
