An exciting new opportunity has become available for a Customer Service Advisor to join a leading organisation that provides professional services, based in West Malling, for a 6 month FTC.
You will be dealing with a high volume of telephone calls and general administration of existing policies over the telephone, including registering new claims.
Key responsibilities:
*Dealing with a high volume of telephone calls received to various help-lines.
*Quickly identifying the nature of the query and directing the call appropriately.
*General Administration of existing policies over the telephone including admendments,
*queries, cancellations, direct debits, claim form requests and updates
*Quickly identify mis-directed calls and either transfer the call or provide appropriate contact details.
*Ensure company service standards are adhered to.
*Undertake other duties over and above those listed in the job description, appropriate to the individual's skills and experience.
*Provide support to the claims team in the management of ongoing claims
*Register new claims over the telephone
*Communicate with internal profit centres external clients and the claims department,
*where appropriate
*Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal
*requirements and company policies.
*Ensure that our customers are treated in accordance with the principals of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF).
*Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal requirements and company policies.
Key attributes:
*5 GCSE level qualifications, grade C or above Experience
*Strong planning and organisational skills and the ability to work to deadline
*Ability to develop and sustain relationships with internal and external parties.
*Effective communication skills
*MI and analytical skills.
*Excellent verbal communication skills with a good telephone manner.
*Ability to work to a high standard and while under pressure.
*Understanding of and commitment to quality customer care and service provision.
